This morning, enjoy a guided sightseeing tour of Bergen with a local expert.

Wander through the historic Bryggen Hanseatic Wharf, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with its colourful wooden buildings dating back to the 14th century. Stroll past the lively Fish Market and Flower Market and learn about Bergen’s important role in Norway’s maritime history.

We also visit Bryggens Museum, built over the remains of the city’s earliest settlement, offering fascinating insight into medieval life.

Later, ride the Fløibanen Funicular to the summit of Mount Fløien. From here, take in panoramic views over Bergen, its harbour and the surrounding fjords framed by snow-dusted peaks.

Enjoy a relaxed lunch with coffee at a local restaurant before returning to your hotel.

After breakfast, we begin one of Norway’s most scenic journeys.

Travel by rail from Bergen through dramatic mountain landscapes to Voss, passing frozen lakes, waterfalls and rugged terrain along the way. From here, continue by coach before boarding a breathtaking fjord cruise along the UNESCO-listed Nærøyfjord.

Glide silently through this narrow fjord, surrounded by towering cliffs, snow-covered peaks and cascading waterfalls. The stillness and scale of the landscape make this one of Norway’s most unforgettable experiences.

Arriving in the charming village of Flåm, nestled at the head of the Aurlandsfjord, enjoy dinner at your hotel this evening.

This morning, your luggage is transferred ahead to Oslo, allowing you to travel comfortably.

Board the world-famous Flåm Railway, one of the steepest standard-gauge railway lines in existence. The train winds its way through spectacular mountain scenery, passing frozen waterfalls, deep ravines and dramatic valleys as it climbs toward Myrdal.

From here, continue on the Bergen Railway across the snow-covered Hardangervidda mountain plateau to Oslo, Norway’s vibrant capital.

Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel and enjoy an evening at leisure.

Today, discover Norway’s stylish capital on a guided sightseeing tour by coach.

Beautifully positioned at the head of the Oslofjord, Oslo combines striking modern architecture with fascinating Viking heritage and rich cultural history. During your tour, take in some of the city’s most notable landmarks and districts, including its revitalised waterfront areas and green parklands.

The remainder of the day is free for you to explore independently. You may wish to visit one of Oslo’s renowned museums, stroll along the harbour promenade, or simply enjoy a coffee in one of the city’s welcoming cafés.

Today we journey north into the Arctic Circle as we travel to Tromsø, often referred to as the “Gateway to the Arctic.”

Surrounded by dramatic mountains and fjords, Tromsø is one of the best places in the world to witness the Northern Lights.

On arrival, enjoy a two-course lunch before visiting the striking Arctic Cathedral, known for its distinctive triangular design and beautiful stained-glass window.

We then ascend Mount Storsteinen via the Fjellheisen cable car for panoramic views over Tromsø, its surrounding islands and the vast Arctic landscape.

After dinner at the hotel, we head out on a private Northern Lights chase. With the guidance of experienced local experts, we travel to the best possible viewing locations based on weather and aurora forecasts. Your guide will also offer helpful tips for photographing this natural phenomenon.

Return to Tromsø for time at leisure before dinner.

In the evening, venture out once more in search of the Northern Lights, maximising your chances of witnessing this extraordinary spectacle dancing across the Arctic sky.

Today we delve into the traditions of the indigenous Sami people.

Travel through scenic Arctic landscapes to experience reindeer sledding and learn about Sami culture from local hosts. Hear stories passed down through generations, gain insight into traditional livelihoods and experience the hauntingly beautiful Sami “joik” song.

Enjoy a warm meal and hot drinks as you embrace the atmosphere of Arctic life.

Later, visit the Magic Ice Bar in Tromsø. Wrapped in warm ponchos and gloves, sip a drink served in an ice glass while admiring intricate ice sculptures inspired by Arctic explorers and local history.
